IdleAire comes to truckstops

Petro Stopping Centers has agreed to install IdleAire Technology's truck electrification system at its truckstops nationwide. Fleets that have agreements with IdleAire pay $1.25 per hour to use the electrification system to power heat and air-conditioning systems, as well as communications and entertainment systems for their cabs without idling the engine and draining power from the truck's batteries. The only retrofit needed is a window adapter, which usually costs about $10, according to IdleAire.
