CFA Software Inc. has released a version of its fleet maintenance and inventory control software, CFAWin for the Microsoft Windows XP Tablet Operating System. CFAWin v.7 supports WinXP Tablet's handwritten text and speech recognition features, as well as Wi-Fi wireless networking, making it especially suitable for maintenance shop applications. www.cfasoftware.com Truckload carrier Dart Transit Co. has agreed to install Netwise, the yield management and decision support software from Integrated Decision Support Corp. The application is said to identify root causes of unprofitable freight and make recommendations for optimizing freight mixes and responding to shipper bid requests.
