Safefreight Technology USA unveiled its new SecurityGuard Asset Tracker (SGAT) cargo security system at ITS. According to Curtis Serna, company founder & CEO, the real-time trailer alarm system prevents unauthorized removal or unloading of cargo. The “trailer-focused” alarm and tracking system immediately notifies pre-determined key contacts should a security breech occur. Serna pointed out that the system's “local deterrence” consists of a 126 dB audible and strobe-light alarm system.
