Goodyear releases retreads

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. has announced new retread designs for the G287 MSA, G282 MSD and G558 WTD tires will be available in the first quarter of 2009. According to the company, the new tread for the G287 MSA features an open center lug design for enhanced wear; optimized tread design for improved traction, and mixed service and rubber compounds for longer tread life.
