ConocoPhillips reports on liquid titanium-enhanced oil

Rolled out at the top of the year, ConocoPhillips’ reformulated premium synthetic blend API CJ-4 heavy-duty motor oil, which is marketed under both Guardol and Kendall band names, has been proving the value of its proprietary  Liquid Titanium additive in fleet service, according to the oil supplier. According to ConocoPhillips, Guardol ECT and Kendall Super-D XA reformulated with the new additive improves engine-wear and bearing-corrosion protection and increases oxidation stability,  with no tradeoffs in other performance advantages.
