Eaton unveils next-generation Vorad

TAMPA, FL. Eaton Corp. introduced its next generation Vorad safety system here today ahead of the Technology & Maintenance Council winter meeting. The new Vorad VS-400, which succeeds the current offering, is modular to allow purchasing any one or all of several safety-related features. The standard collision-warning system (CWS) with forward-looking radar, as well as the Blindspotter side object detecting sensor and SmartCruise adaptive cruise control, may be purchased separately or bundled as one package.
