Spotlight falls on Western Star’s 109 in. BBC model, new Allison Optimized package

ST. LOUIS. Western Star, a division of Daimler Trucks North America, showcased its 4900 109 in. BBC model with a unique powertrain option at the National Truck Equipment Assn.’s Work Truck Show here. The truck features a Detroit Diesel DD13 engine and Allison 3000RDS transmission.
