Reefers that multi-task

Thermo King recently introduced a multi-temperature trailer refrigeration system, the Spectrum SB, featuring the company's SmartReefer2 (SR-2) controller. The new reefer unit can balance the temperature in up to three different zones, with Spectrum S-3 R remote evaporators enabling each zone to serve as an individual trailer. Evaporators are designed for high airflow and large capacity, according to Thermo King. Through a bigger display screen, the SR-2 makes it possible for operators to simultaneously track data for all three of the trailer's temperature zones.
