Truck reefer keeps cold quietly

Carrier Transicold's new Supra 950 produces the highest output of any truck refrigeration unit made by the company, while also significantly reducing sound output compared to the model it replaces, according to the business unit of United Technologies Corp. Joining the Supra 550, 650, 750 and 850, the top-of-the-line Supra 950 has a cooling capacity of 32,000 Btus, with a setpoint of 35°F in ambient 100°F temperatures, making it suitable for frozen applications.
