Sterling adds safety options

ORLANDO. Air disc brakes, collision warning and roll stability control (RSC) will be offered as new factory-installed options by Sterling Trucks, according to a company announcement here at the annual meeting of the Technology and Maintenance Council (TMC). The safety options will be available on the company’s set-back axle models of the A-Line, and all L-Line and Acterra models. The air disc brakes are proprietary models from Sterling’s parent Daimler Trucks and will be offered for both front and rear axles, an industry first, according to Sterling.
