Vantage rolls out electric light-duties

Vantage Vehicle International, Inc. has announced the release of its all-electric mini-vehicle utility truck and passenger and cargo van line. The trucks are powered by lead-acid batteries that the company said charge on standard house current in four to six hours for a range of up to 60 miles. The electric line consists of the two-passenger Extended Cab GreenTruck EVX 1000; the five-passenger Crew Cab GreenTruck EVR 1000; the five-passenger cargo EVC 1000 GreenVan, and the seven-passenger EVP 1000 GreenVan passenger van.
