Western Star rolls out twin-steer 4900 FA

LOUISVILLE. Western Star Trucks announced a new configuration option for its 4900 FA model series at the Mid-America Trucking Show. The OEM said the new set-forward 109-in. BBC twin steer is aimed at construction and severe-duty applications, such as West Coast mixers and “super dumps.” It features a three-degree wheel cut improvement over previous designs, to offer greater maneuverability for off-road applications.
