Diesel drops another 2 cents

The average diesel price in the U.S. decreased two cents to $2.25 per gallon for the week of February 2, according the Energy Information Administration (EIA). This puts it at the lowest level since June 6, 2005, when it averaged $2.23. Prices are more than $1 cheaper than they were one year ago, and less than half the all-time high of $4.76 recorded on July 14, 2008. A barrel of crude oil fell to $39.95 this morning, as uncertainty about the U.S. stimulus proposal and overall economic outlook has dampened expectations, the Associated Press has reported. ...
