Carrier Transicold APU with ClearSky DPF verified by CARB

Carrier Transicold’s ComfortPro auxiliary power unit (APU) has been conditionally verified by the California Air Resources Board (CARB) for use with 2007 or newer engines in the state when teamed with a ClearSky diesel particulate filter (DPF), the company has announced. According to Carrier Transicold, the ClearSky DPF reduces particulate emissions more than 85% and meets CARB’s nitrogen oxide (NOx) emission regulations.
