Coca-Cola expands hybrid-electric fleet

Coca-Cola Enterprises (CCE) has announced it will add 185 hybrid-electric delivery trucks to its North American fleet in 2009, bringing the company’s total number of hybrid-electric vehicles to 327. The majority of the 142 hybrid-electric delivery vehicles CCE currently has on the road are 12-bay box trucks (33000 GVW), but the company announced that the new fleet will include a 55000 GVW hybrid-electric tractor, the standard bulk-delivery truck the company uses for large deliveries.
