SmartWay verifies two wide-base tires

Michelin has announced its Michelin X One XDN 2 drive and Michelin X One XTE trailer wide-base tires have been added to the U.S. EPA SmartWay program’s list of verified fuel-saving technologies. SmartWay measures NOx emissions and fuel savings potential of tires based on tire manufacturer data as well as EPA testing and research. Michelin now offers 10 tires in its product lineup that are recognized in this way by SmartWay.
