Pickens to give Green Truck Summit keynote

Billionaire energy activist T. Boone Pickens will give the keynote address at The Work Truck Show 2009 Green Truck Summit on Tuesday, March 3, the National Truck Equipment Association (NTEA) has announced. Pickens will speak about his energy policy, the Pickens Plan, which calls for building wind farms to provide up to 22% of the electricity used in the U.S., developing a 21st century electric grid and using domestic natural gas as fuel to power fleet vehicles and heavy-duty trucks. “T.
