Descartes debuts new wireless services

Logistics provider Descartes Systems Group has introduced Automated Vehicle Locator (AVL) wireless services, integrating on-demand delivery route planning and execution with web-based GPS vehicle tracking, the company said.   According to Descartes, AVL is available on many mobile devices and wireless networks and enables delivery route changes on the fly.
