Transplace names COO

Transplace, Inc. has named Robert Brescia executive vp and chief operations officer (COO). Brescia comes to Transplace from Volkswagen of America, where he was chief logistics officer. Brescia, who has over 30 years of experience in logistics and operations, managed import and distribution of finished vehicles and profit and loss (P&L) responsibility for after-market service parts operations for Volkswagen.
