Cargo Transporters, a North Carolina-based truckload carrier, says it will install the new Qualcomm OmniVision mobile computing and communications system in its fleet of 440 vehicles. The fleet is currently using Qualcomm's T2 untethered trailer tracking system and had previously used the company's OmniTRACS mobile communications system. The NovaTracker Maya is an in-vehicle GPS-equipped wireless data hub that easily integrates with most vehicle-tracking software, according to the developer.
