Tripmaster adds temperature monitor

Under a marketing agreement with FreshLoc Technologies, onboard electronic recorder maker Tripmaster Corp. will now offer its customers a wireless in-transit temperature monitoring and recording system. The Freshsync data logging system is specifically designed for multiple-stop reefer delivery operations with multiple compartments, according to the company. An Internet-based wireless ASP system, it places small wireless temperature sensors in each compartment. Transit temperatures are recorded, and if they move out of pre-set ranges, the driver is alerted. Arrival notification can also be sent ahead to delivery sites.
