Designed to provide enterprise-wide control of asset maintenance, the next version of Maximo from MRO Software has been completely redesigned with a distributed component architecture. By using Internet-based components and Java technology, the new Maximo 5.0 can be easily and quickly deployed across multiple sites, networks and even stand-alone systems, according to the developer. Any device with a web browser, including wireless devices, can access the new system.
