Used-truck buyers going online The online truck auction site hookup.com reports that buyers are rapidly turning to the Internet for used tractors, trucks, trailers and other equipment. Activity at the site grew from just 150 bids last August to 2,280 in November. At presstime, the site had received over 1,700 bids in the first 10 days of December, resulting in sales of more than $440,000.
