MADD CEO nominated to be NHTSA chief

Charles “Chuck” Hurley, CEO of Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD), has been nominated by President Obama to be the next Administrator of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). CEO of MADD since 2005, Hurley is a former naval intelligence officer who has spent the last 30 years involved with highway safety issues in senior leadership positions with the National Safety Council and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.
