EPA begins clean diesel project funding

The first $3.4 million in funding for clean diesel projects has been allocated by the Environmental Protection Agency under the $50 million Diesel Emissions Reduction Program. Three organizations split the grant money: the Community Development Transportation Lending Services in Washington, D.C.; Cascade Sierra Solutions in Oregon; and the Owner-Operator Independent Drivers Assn. (OOIDA).
