ADVANCED SAFETY SYSTEMS: Finding the ROI

You'd be hard pressed to find a fleet that doesn't think installing more safety systems on trucks would be a good thing. And most would also agree that the Achilles heel of safety technology is finding a way to make it pay for itself. A 2003 Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) survey of private and for-hire fleets starkly illustrates this conundrum.
