Sharing the road online

The American Trucking Assns. has launched a web site for its “Share the Road” program, whose purpose is to educate motorists about safe practices when driving vehicles, in particular large tractor-trailers. The main of objective of the site, www.atastr.org, is to teach people about the large blind spots that surround 18-wheelers, and how to driver accordingly. In addition, the site has sections on the hazards of distracted driving, following trucks too closely and passing. “Share the Road” is sponsored by Mack Trucks and Chevron Delo. ...
