Kenworth extends rebate program

Kenworth Truck Co. has announced it will extend its rebate program with Landstar System, Inc., offering a $1,000 rebate to independent contractors who purchase new Kenworth sleeper trucks and provide Landstar with transportation capacity under exclusive lease arrangements. After purchasing the truck at a Kenworth dealer anytime in 2009, customers must send copies of the paperwork to Landstar. Kenworth will then send the $1,000 rebate directly to the purchaser. Eligible Class 8 trucks include the Kenworth T660, T800 and W900 models with 72-in. AeroCab or 86-inch Studio AeroCab sleeper, and the Kenworth T2000 model with 75-in.
