Michelin, China Manufacturers Alliance settle

Michelin North America, Inc. has announced a settlement with China Manufacturers Alliance, LLC (CMA) resolving the infringement of intellectual property rights. The settlement follows a resolution between Michelin and Shanghai Tire & Rubber (Group) Co, Ltd on multiple intellectual property litigations in various countries. STRC and its related companies will change tread patters on Double Coin and Dyna Trac brand tires in return for Michelin dropping its legal actions for patent infringement and other issues.
