NRS commits to L.A.’s clean port program

National Retail Systems, a leading retail logistics provider, announced it will significantly expand its pier fleet in 2009. At the same time, NRS submitted a letter of intent to the Port of Los Angeles, committing to a pier trucking fleet that meets the port’s “Clean Truck” standards. NRS, according to Raymond Wisniewski, President and COO, is fully prepared to comply with new trucking regulations set to take effect Oct. 1 under the Port of Los Angeles Clean Truck Program.
