Ten-year deal for Interpool

Princeton, NJ-based Interpool has signed a ten-year deal with BNSF Railway Co. to supply and manage the railroad’s fleet of 48- and 53-ft. trailers along with those of BNSF customers. The agreement includes the truckload carriers and intermodal marketing companies that use the railroad’s terminals. Interpool said it expects to supply BNSF with approximately 24,000 trailers by the end of 2006 and thereafter to supply domestic chassis as needed.
