FedEx Freight Canada gets new digs

FedEx Freight Canada is moving into a new headquarters building in Toronto,complete with its own 48 dock-door terminal. The newly formed subsidiary of FedEx Freight, formerly Watkins Canada Express, officially began operations in February. It provides seamless intra-Canada and trans-border LTL service, said Grant Crawford, vp & gm for FedEx Freight Canada. “This new facility establishes a strong base from which we can quickly expand our operations across Canada,” he said “In addition to Toronto, we offer P&D service through a growing network of facilities that includes Vancouver, Winnipeg, London, Calgary and Montreal.” All told, FedEx Freight Canada ...
