Rush purchases two dealerships

Rush Enterprises, Inc. has announced the acquisition of Peterbilt Carolina and Adams International Trucks, with a purchase price totaling approximately $40 million. Peterbilt Carolina includes a Peterbilt, Hino and Isuzu heavy- and medium-duty truck dealership, while Adams International is an International heavy- and medium-duty truck and Workhorse custom chassis dealership, Rush said. “This acquisition complements our strategy to diversify earnings by expanding our geographic footprint,” said W.M. “Rusty” Rush, president & CEO of Rush Enterprises, Inc. “It strengthens our contiguous network of distribution across the Southern United States by adding a significant presence in the North Carolina market.” ...
