Trimac to buy concrete hauler

The Calgary, Ontario-based Trimac Income Fund, a provider of bulk trucking services, is wrapping up its deal to buy The Jeffbrett Group Partnership, which generates $10 million Canadian in annual revenues working primarily for St. Lawrence Cement in Southern Ontario. “This transaction expands our cement hauling capability in Southern Ontario and introduces us to a new customer in that marketplace,” said Terry Owen, CEO of Trimac Transportation Services, the trucking arm of the Trimac Income Fund. “The seasonality of this [cement] business, with activity levels peaking in the summer months, provides operating synergies for our recently acquired eastern ...
