New sensors monitor tankers, tires

SkyBitz has released its Tank Activity Sensor to monitor the status of tank product and identify possible theft or unauthorized discharge of such product. The sensor monitors valves to indicate if it has been opened. The company has also made available its Tire Pressure Sensor for on-tire pressure identification. Mounted on the wheel end, the sensor monitors tire pressures and displays the information for the driver via satellite. The sensor works with Stemco’s mileage sensor, the company noted.
