For Pete's sake! In what it calls a daring test of strength, the Snap-on Tools Co. mounted this Peterbilt dump on six of its tool storage units. The Snap-on KRL extended-cab system rolling units were outfitted with steel plates and wheel chocks to stabilize the weight of the Pete, which was hoisted onto its heavy-duty perch with six mobile lifts. Snap-on proudly notes its KRL cabinets are built with double-wall construction, using two full-sized layers of high-quality steel to provide ultimate strength, durability and finish — although it did not mention any plans to become a truck pedestal supplier. ...
