Idealease’s Thayer takes TRALA chair

Tom Thayer, president & CEO of Idealease is the new chairman of the Truck Renting and Leasing Assn. (TRALA) for the 2009-2010 term. Elected to the position at TRALA's annual meeting March 12, Thayer plans to focus on several key issues for truck renting and leasing firms-- protection from unfair fees and taxes, overly burdensome lease accounting standards and attacks on the repeal of federal vicarious liability laws.
