New head of Bendix Spicer

Walter Frankiewicz has been named president of Bendix Spicer Foundation Brake LLC. He replaces Kishor Pendse, who will retire from Bendix Spicer Foundation Brake before the end of 2009. Pendse will assume the role of gm while he assists in the changeover of responsibilities to Frankiewicz. Frankiewicz is a 27-year automotive industry veteran, most recently serving as president for Alcoa Electrical and Electronic Solutions. He previously was vp & gm, special projects and global chassis for ArvinMeritor Automotive.
