Chillicothe makes its quarter-millionth K-whopper

Kenworth Truck Co.’s manufacturing plant in Chillicothe, OH, recently produced its 250,000th truck, a new 2006-model Kenworth T600 aerodynamic tractor with 72-in. AeroCab sleeper, built for Halvor Lines Inc. of Superior, WI. “We’re proud to achieve the production of 250,000 trucks at the Kenworth plant in Chillicothe,” said Tony McQuary, Kenworth asst. gm-- operations. “This significant milestone is a tribute to the hard work, dedication, and strong commitment to quality that Kenworth employees at Chillicothe have shown since the plant was opened in 1974.
