Trucks Roll Christmas Trees to D.C.

A 2005 Freightliner Columbia, owned by Interstate Distributor Co., is carrying several Christmas trees from Washington State to Washington D.C. that will be on display at the White House and Camp David. The 2,900-mi. trek is expected to end at the nation’s capitol later this week. Of the three trees harvested for this years' holiday display, the tallest is an 18-1/2-foot Noble Fir tree that will be placed in the Blue Room at the White House.
