Construction to jam Virginia and Maryland highways

The outer loop of the Capital Beltway (I-495 East) just past the I-95 South exit will be closed due to construction from 8 pm Saturday, April 2 until 10 am Sunday, April 3. Capital Beltway eastbound motorists heading towards the Woodrow Wilson Bridge or heading to I-395 northbound will be detoured onto I-95 South and exit at Exit 166A (Fairfax County Parkway/ Newington/Ft.
