User-defined alerts identify violations

GPS Insight has launched what it says is the next generation of user-defined alerts for fleet management. The new alerts will help customers react to unexpected situations as well as notify drivers of violations in real time via SMS text message or email to their phone, the company said. Speeding, idling, long stop, landmark visit and odd-hours/weekend usage can all be used to tailor an alert to a particular customer.
