Innovative certified for IBM i 6.1

Innovative Computing Corp. has announced its Enterprise Software (IES) R8V02M03 has been certified for IBM’s i 6.1 operating system. According to the company, through the upgrades to IBM’s operating system and hardware, Innovative customers will receive a re-engineered processor (Power6), operating system enhancements, optimized storage and memory management, enhanced storage area network, enhanced internal integration and a lower total cost of operation. Innovative also announced new enhancements and modules for IES R9, expected to be available in late spring 2009.
