Qualcomm platform factory-installed option at Navistar

Qualcomm’s Mobile Computing Platform (MCP) will be available as a factory-installed option on Navistar Class 5 to 8 vehicles beginning in the fourth quarter of 2008, the two companies announced. Under the terms of the agreement, Navistar dealers will resell Qualcomm’s MCP throughout the U.S., allowing Navistar customers to purchase International brand trucks with the system installed by the dealer.
