Eaton plans urea-free SCR system

Eaton Corp. has entered into a global, non-exclusive licensing agreement with Clean Diesel Technologies, Inc. to use its Advanced Reagent Injector System (ARIS) technology for the injection of hydrocarbon fuel in emissions reduction applications, the company announced. According to Eaton, the company’s aftertreatment and fuel-dosing systems, targeted for production to begin in 2011, will reduce NOx and particulate matter (PM) emissions from diesel engines.
